Hailing from Canada’s capital, Kris is a compassionate gamer for good. They’ve been part of the Extra Life community for the past thirteen years, with fifteen Game Day events under their belt and a long-standing commitment to supporting CHEO (The Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario), their local Children’s Miracle Network hospital. Beyond fundraising, Kris serves as a leader of Extra Life’s Ottawa Guild, helping build community, support new participants, and keep things running smoothly behind the scenes year-round.
Kris cares about building spaces where people feel safe showing up as their full selves, whether that’s online, in the gaming world, or at work. They’re especially passionate about making sure others feel seen, supported, and like they actually belong.
When they’re not being a Hero for CHEO or working their day job, you’ll likely find Kris playing a video game, catching up on a series, spending time with their niblings, or finally circling back to that one pandemic skill they swear they’re still going to master.
